Interrogation Time, Yesssssssss.

Here is condensed list of the most frequently asked questions in an interview. These have been compiled by Dean w. Johnson and give some really good guidance as to what your going to be asked in the interview. So now that you know be prepared.

Why did you decide to seek a position in this company?

What motivated you to leave your last job?

What are your short-range goals and objectives?

What are your long range goals and objectives?

What do you see yourself doing five years from now? Ten years from now?

What do you really want to do in life?

How do you plan to achieve your career goals?

What are the most important rewards you expect in your career?

What do you expect to be earning in five years?

Why did you choose this career?

Can you explain this gap in your employment history?

How well do you work with people? Do you prefer working alone or in teams?

How well do you deal with conflict?

How do you handle difficulty with a supervisor? How was the conflict resolved?

What do you consider your greatest strengths to be?

What do you consider your greatest weaknesses to be?

What was best job you've ever had?

Describe the best supervisor you've ever had.

How would you last boss describe your work performance?

What about the community where we are located attracts you?

What in your past shows initiative and willingness to work?

  1. You've got it all wrong.
    You interview the company to see
    if you would care to work there.

    Honestly, it works. After you have verified that you are licensed to
    practice Pharmacy, you begin asking
    them questions, such as what benefits do you offer? Do you get a lunch break. What is salary offered and are there scheduled salary reviews? Is there a bonus plan? 401K? Subsidized stock purchase plan? What Insurances are offered?
    And why did the previous Pharmacist leave. How much sign-on bonus do they offer?

    You get the idea now? They will be
    so intent on selling you the job they won't even think of asking for
    references, etc.

    It works. I know, I've done it. It
    increases your stature and prestige
    in the job if you decide to take it.

    Just don't dare let them know how badly you need the job just to eat
    or to start paying off all those debts.
